The Vinton County Airport is a general aviation airport located five miles northeast of McArthur, Ohio. Major facilities at the airport include a 3,725-foot primary runway (Runway 09/27) and a turn-around taxiway. Other facilities and services include avgas and maintenance. The Vinton County Airport is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems.

The location is home to one on-airport business, Hocking Hills Scenic Air Tours. Several area businesses, including Austin Powder and J-Fab, use the airport for air transportation needs and for the shipment of parts/components. Medflight uses the airport on an as needed basis, as do various law enforcement agencies. The airport supports aerial application of pesticides during the summer months intended to combat infestation by the emerald ash borer.

The airport also maintains programs to enhance community outreach, including events such as air shows, car shows, fish fries, bean dinners, and Young Eagle rides.
