Vinton County Community Building

The Community Building is a great venue to host a meeting, party, or other function. Aside from local department offices, the building has space available to the public for rent. Located at 31935 State Route 93, just north of McArthur, this building is centrally located in the county and convenient for many functions.

The rental procedure is as follows:

• Call the Vinton County Commissioners’ Office at 740-596-4571 ext. 221 to check availability and reserve the room.
• A $50.00 deposit is required when you visit the Commissioner’s Office, located in the Vinton County Courthouse, to pick up the key.
• Your deposit will be refunded when the key is brought back and after inspection. The room must be clean and undamaged.
• A fee of $30.00 per hour of rental use will be charged. You are only charged for the actual hours used for your event.

Vinton County Fairgrounds

The Vinton County Fairgrounds has rental facilities available for birthday parties, wedding receptions, family reunions, company picnics, auctions, and much more. The venue has both indoor and outdoor accommodations. The grounds include a beautiful pond and covered bridge.

Grounds rental: $300 per day / $150 deposit
Building rental: $150 per day / $100 deposit

Numerous shelter houses and parks may be available for reservation by contacting the appropriate township or village.
